"We love unique collections and novelty prints," says Tonia. "But very few of these fabrics can be found in the large retail chains." Their original frustration is now your shopping opportunity! From Alexander Henry to Art Gallery to Monaluna, as well as Free Spirit, Moda and Michael Miller. If it's new and cool, Fashionable Fabrics is likely to have it in stock for you.

We will draw one person at random from everyone who posts a qualifying comment on this article as of midnight PT May 25, 2012. No purchase necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.

I've been looking for fabric to use as the exterior for my next project - a large insulated, zippered picnic bag and the pretty lobster pattern is definitely in the running. I thought I might have to settle for the usual fruit clusters but this whimsical pattern in such great colors is making me rethink my design scheme.
