Top 16 Projects of 2016 — Plus Three Runners Up

Printer-friendly versionSend by emailPDF version

Looking back through the year’s projects is always one of our favorite things. It’s a little amazing, even to us, to see all the creativity that’s stacked up in just twelve short months. Picking the winners is a combination of votes from the Sew4Home team and our sponsors, plus likes from all of you on our various social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter - as well as your comments on the site itself. If you don’t follow us now, please join the fun! This year, each Top Project also carries a category award. We already revealed one: our Zip Zap Mini Pouch, which we featured on 12/29/16, was the winner of Fave Fast Bag. Read on to find out which others made the cut, then be sure to leave us a comment to let us know which ones you liked best as well as any you think we overlooked. Then… it's on to even more fabulousness for this year!

I always get this e-mail telling me what is coming up for the week, but do not get any daily e-mails with the project insructions in them.  Am I doing something wrong?

Liz Johnson.Editor.Sew4Home said:

@Cookie17 - We send out two emails each week. There is one on Monday that links directly to the Monday article and lists the other four articles coming up that week so you can make sure to go to the site for your favorite. We send another email on Friday that is a summary of the week with direct links to each day's article. We do not send daily emails, and the emails never carry the actual instructions - you need to come to the site for those. You can also visit home page of the site at www.sew4home.com any time to see all the latest articles.

@ Georgette - Those are both super popular projects for sure, however, since they weren't brand new in 2017, they didn't get to participate. We still love them though - and are so glad you do too!
