Gift Ideas
With holiday gift giving approaching, it's nice to find a collection just hitting the stores with so many pretty prints. This collection has a universal appeal, and within the prints, there is something for everyone.
Pretty Pillows
Ikat pillows are so trendy and pricey. The Boho collection has six ikat prints to choose from. Make an easy pillow using our Sunny Throw Pillows tutorial. You can make this simple envelope style pillow in about 30 minutes.
Or mix and match an assortment of prints using our Scrap It: Patchwork Pillow tutorial.
Everyone Loves an Apron
The warm uplifting colors in Boho are perfect for aprons and kitchen linens, which are always-appreciated gifts. Sew4Home has fifteen apron patterns to choose from that are appropriate for the Boho prints. Our all-time fave apron pattern, chosen by a vote of Sew4Home visitors, is the Vintage Style Apron, which would be charming using one of the Bindi and Medallion print combinations shown above.
Gift Baskets
Make up a custom gift basket filled with sewing supplies for the seamstress; pamper a teen girl with a basket of nail polish, cosmetics, and hair accessories; whip up something for the cook: cookbook, pretty napkins (made from Boho) tied with a bow, and a bottle of wine or an exotic seasoning; and for the movie buff... a classic DVD, a coupon for a pizza and of course gourmet popcorn. Use your imagination and our Fabric Basket tutorial.

Finding Fabrics in General
When you see a particular fabric online you that like, you can check your favorite fabric source to find out if they have it in stock or can get it for you. Be sure to look at our Shopping Directory for our fave sources. You can also try Googling the fabric name along with the designer's name or the design house, for example: Boho and "Free Spirit Fabrics". Prints from older collections can sometimes be found on Etsy or eBay. If you love a fabric, get it while you can. Because, like fashionable apparel, popular fabrics come and go; at some point, even the most amazing fabrics are no longer in stores or online.
