Renaissance Ribbons and the Amazing Deal and Great Giveaway they're sponsoring as part of our New Year Celebration promotion. If you're a regular Sew4Home visitor, you've likely noticed the increase in beautiful projects featuring Renaissance Ribbons. They've sponsored two innovative ribbon projects each month for the past six months. Ribbon is an excellent way to add instant beauty to a project, and we have TWO amazing gift boxes to give away, each containing yards and yards of that on-the-spot loveliness!

Renaissance Ribbons is known throughout the industry for supplying some of the most unique woven ribbons and trims available. A number of them are imported designs from France; many others are created by your favorite designers. Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler, Tula Pink, Sue Spargo, and Anna Maria Horner are just a few of the amazing designers who trust Renaissance Ribbons to execute their work in ribbon.

Our thanks to everyone at Renaissance Ribbons for providing today's TWO generous and gorgeous prize boxes. Each contains over $70 worth of ribbon from a variety of their popular designers.

While you're dreaming about all the amazing things you could embellish with this beautiful ribbon, browse all the S4H/RR tutorials for inspiration.

And, it's not too late to shop and save for those last minute holiday projects. The Renaissance Ribbons online store has a huge selection on holiday ribbons in-stock and on-sale now. Save 15% on the ribbons, and get free shipping on orders over $60 with the checkout code: FREESHIP60.

We were particularly taken by 1½" Mistletoe in Burgundy by Laura Foster, 1½" Christmas Tree on Silver by Sue Spargo, and ⅞" Holiday Bird by Dena Designs.

Long ago I made lovely purse accessories from ribbons.  I still use them, too!  I have tiny envelope bags custom made to fit my nail file and nail clippers.  They keep my items clean and shiny and lint free, and they can't snag delicate purse linings.  I put a tiny glove snap on the flap of each one so that they are nice and secure.  I used to have one for a pocket knife, but I cased a leather one to use that's still in use also.  The other two make nice gifts.

In the past months I have made lanyards, keyfobs, wristlets, purses, bags and linens adorned with this ribbon.  It's a quick way to add punch to any design and the quality of the ribbon adds a designer and decidedly upscale feel to any project.

I look forward to using them in my Spring projects.

I'm making aprons with patterns that my mother passed on to me.  They sold for 15 and 20 cents.  So glad I kept them because they are back in style.  Embellishing them with beautiful ribbon is a great idea.

Ps, I also use ribbons to make my dog's collars.  Most only last about a year, then I get to look at new designs :)

Beautiful prizes. I would love to win theses and would share this with my DIL who 'may or may not be getting a very nice sewing machine from us for Christmas' and will need lots of supplies. These ribbons would be awesome since she has been learning to sew on my spare machine for my 22month old Granddaughter/her daughter. Thank you so much for the chance.

Renaissance Ribbons are beautiful, quality materials to work with. They both feel and look "luxe" and are sometimes too pretty to give away! I used them on the Sew4Home key fob project and made them for co-workers, they were a big hit! Thanks to Renaissance Ribbons for the wonderful give-away, and as always, to Sew4Home for the great projects to sew up all year!
