I sew clothing, quilts, home dec - just about anything that will fit under the needle of my machine! LOL! I've been sewing for a very long time, love it love it love it!  This beautiful machine would help me out when my big machine is embroidering, I could then still be sewing on another project if I had a 2nd machine! Thanks for the opportunity to win, Happy New Year!

I am a quilter.   I am getting back into personal sewing, for home decor and appareal.  I travel extensively, so I bought a Janome Gem that I take with me for sewing in hotels. I was sceptical of my little machine, but it has become a work horse, button holes are a dream.

I would love to have a machine that is just as reliable at home so I would not have to pack and unpack my travel sewing.

The extra stitches of this new machine would be the "Cat's Meow."

Thank you for the chance.   I enjoy your blog, such wonderful talent sharing great ideas.

I make custom window coverings with an industrial machine. The Janome would allow me to use decorative stitches that I do not have now. I would like to learn to applique and this machine would make that possible. Love you Sew 4 home!

I absolutely love to sew! It's what I do everyday. I've started up an Etsy shop and I've been working on bettering my sewing skills and trying to find new things to make all the time. Right now I sew plushies, bags, and hats mostly. I would love to own a fantastic machine like this one, it would really help my business really take off and inspire me with new projcts and techniques!

I would love to win this machine. I want to make drapes for my two story double window.  I know I can do it and my motivation is the cost savings over buying custom made drapes.  This machine would help. My current machine sometimes struggles with heavier fabric.

I started making quilts this year.  Up till now having a limited number of stitches wasn't an issue. Because some of the quilts I want to do next year require machine applique I've come to the realization that I need more stitch choices.  How many times can I use Satin and one of the two stores I buy my supplies from only sells Janome so it must be a dream to sew on.

I currently have a very old Singer I inherited from my older sister, who inherited it from my grandmother.  It has only the basic stitches, a four-step button hole making process, and everything is manual.  My friends tell me about the new computerized machines that make sewing so much easier. This new Janome machine would be a whole new experience for me.

I do most of my sewing (clothing and household needs) on "Big Red" (a Janome Memory Craft 7700), and supplement my sewing needs with a Janome  Magnolia 7330 ("Maggie") and my Bernina 1300DC Serger.   I also own a Janome "My Style 100" used for teaching each of my grandchildren the basics of machine sewing.  Winning this beautiful Janome would allow me to have it in my sewing room for my own needs; then I can add the Magnolia to the grand children's sewing station to learn on a more advanced sewing machine.

I have been making quilts for charitable organizations for several years on my very tired 13 year old Husqvarna Viking which I would love to replace with the Janome DC2013.  Have read glowing reviews of Janome machines and  would love to put one to use for my sewing projects.

I have always have a passion for sewing, I started with hand sewing about 35 years ago and graduated to a singer machine which could not migrate with me when I came over to the U.S a couple of years ago. Since then I have been researching on the best sewing machine to buy. I have fallen in love with the Janome machines and more recently the DC 2013, I  hope I win so I can resume sewing soonest. Thank you

I do all sorts of sewing -- quilts, aprons, skirts, sun dresses, pillows, stuffies, hot pads, table runners, placemats, fitted crib sheets! My machine gets worked hard; it would be great to have this machine to continue the progress!

I have just started to sew again. I was inspired by my daughter announcing she is pregnant. Now my office is rapidly turning into a sewing room and baby fabric samples abound! Winning this machine would mean the world to me, it would help tremendously!

I currently sew simple things like pillowcases and burp cloths since my machine is older than me and VERY simple.  I would love to branch out and do some quilting and decorative stitches with this new machine. I can be reached by phone or email.           Thanks again for another awesome giveaway!

Most of my projects can be finished in a few days.  Having a nicer machine might encourage me to branch out to bigger projects.  I would love to tacke a quilt.

I'm still a beginner and have just a simple sewing machine.  The Janome would be a great addition and get me to branch out into new stitches and patterns.

I have wanted (needed) a machine forever. The singer I have I've had for about 37 years. I do some home decor sewing and a lot of gift making for the Holidays. I hope to have a new one before my first grandchild in born in July! I have two friends (mother and daughter) who have Janome machines and keep telling me I need to get one. Thanks for the chance to win one.

I am still quite new to sewing, and have thus far have only ventured into the waters of sewing clothing. So far, I've enjoyed upcycling old pieces into new things and modifying patterns to suit me.

A machine of my own, like the Janome, would definitely be a blessing as I would love to be able to do different stitches and have a go at quilting. There's just so much I would like to try: quilting, making curtains, more clothes...I just want to try everything.

Thank you for the chance to win. =)

I currently am quilting, but also love making pillows, pillowcases, little goodies for my grandson, and totes for friends and family. This machine, with the greata variety of available specialty feet would make my projects more fun to make and allow them to look more finished and professional.  Thanks for this opportunity to win a great Janome!

It's time to replace my 1970 hand-me-down machine.  My sewing is limited to what I can do on cotton anymore - curtains & costumes mostly!  I'd love a new Janome machine

My friend has had  a Janome machine for years.  It sews like a dream and has a lot of power and doesn't bog down on heavy fabric layers.  I just burned up my sewing machine and think Janome is the one for me.

I taught my granddaughter to sew several years ago and now at 12 years old she is  making PJ pants for her family, a table runner for her grandmother  and tote bags fro her friends. When I go to visit, I take projects that teach her new things, inserting a zipper or following pattern directions.  I would like to have this Janome for her to challenge her skills and keep her learning and interested in creating

Most of my projects are quilts - I do sew some garments from time to time.  This machine would actually let me branch into making more projects with my 9 year old daughter.  She loves to sew but has trouble with the 1/4" seams.  So most of the time, she ends up using my other Janome and it gets to be difficult switching back and forth.  She really doesn't like to share the machine once she gets going!

I love to teach our younger generation to sew, to be creative with their minds and hands.   I love to see their faces light up when they finish a piece of their craft such as a pillow case, a rag doll, or a scarf, best of all, I love it when the realization hit them that with a creative mind and basic sewing machine and materials they can be masters of transformation, that is the essence of creativity.  I volunteer sewing classes in my home, we set a theme for each month, December was the month of gift making, as we are in Wisconsin most of us made scarves and winter hats.  If we win the Janome DC2013, our theme will be to explore the 50 different stitches on this wonderfully modern sewing machine!

I LOVE to sew!  I took sewing in HomeEd for 6 years, grades 7th - 12th.  Through out the years I've sewn clothes for my children when they were young, and myself. Now that I am retired I love sewing aprons, tablerunners, dishtowels, tote bags and blankets that I give as gifts. I've had my Kenmore sewing machine from Sears for 25 years, and I'd LOVE to have a new one......so I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed....hopefully I will be the lucky winner!!

I sew a lot of small projects, some clothes construction, and small quilts.  If this wonderful machine were to come my way, I would take it to my daughters house so we could sew together, as she has recently expressed an interest in having me teach her how to sew.  Which is making me giddy with happiness.

Getting back  into the sewing for house and home & family, friends.  My goal for the new year is to do more for charities, such as making doll clothes for those lacking the funds to wardrobe a new dolly next Christmas.  This is a super giveaway,,,,my daughter inherited a super Janome from her husband's aunt...and I have been an ugly shade of green ever since. Current machine has given me unexpected challenges....ugh!

Due to financial constraints, I've had to settle on a cheaper machine which has provided frustrating challenges. With the Janome DC2013, I think I would find more time to sew and less time reparing/resewing/rethreading/etc.
