Happy Mother's Day: A Great Giveaway From The Ribbon Retreat

This week's Happy Mother's Day projects all featured beautiful ribbon accents generously provided by Lanae and her staff at The Ribbon Retreat + Fabric. To cap off the week, they also sent us 42 rolls of plain and printed grosgrain ribbon as a wonderful Great Giveaway. Yards and yards and yards (165 yards to be exact!) of embellishment creativity await one lucky winner drawn from our S4H Mail List.

We have been consistently impressed with the selection and service at The Ribbon Retreat. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for the amount of ribbon you get. We will draw one name at random from everyone who is in the mail list as of midnight PT May 18, 2011. We will contact the winner by email to confirm your shipping address and will ship the ribbons directly to you.

I just had my 4 Grandchildren from Illinois visiting last week. Took all their measurements and will be making outfits for them. Those ribbons and colors would really make those outfits for the 3 girls a masterpiece. Kyle would enjoy me makeing him a road mat to play with his cars. How neat would it be to have the roads and scenery made using the ribbons. I enjoy creating pillow and all extra fun thing for them. What a fun job it would be to send them treasures with ribbons.

This is a great give away. I would love to use it on childrens clothing. I can see putting this on my daughters dresses. Oh and it could be put on so many other pieces. How exciting to think of the possibilities. The piece I am working on right now could use a little embellishment.
