Printer-friendly versionSend by emailPDF version

THIS GIVEAWAY ENDED 11/16/2012. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED.

We hope you've enjoyed the Oh Baby! series, sponsored by our good friends at Fabric.com. From classic snap-on bibs to sleek bottle carriers to our most stylish diaper bag ever, it's been two weeks of big fun for little folks. We realized once we got done, many of the projects were a two-in-one bonus, featuring a main item with a coordinating carrying case. We had a great time shopping for this series at Fabric.com. With all the amazing fabric choices these days, you're no longer restricted to traditional bunnies and duckies (although, we do still love bunnies and duckies). It's a wide open world of fabric mixing and matching, and Fabric.com is a wonderful resource for everything you need. To emphasize that point: one lucky Sew4Home fan will be going on a dream shopping spree. Fabric.com has provided us with a $250 gift certificate. It's the perfect prize... just in time for holiday shopping!

For a chance to win, simply take a few minutes to browse the Fabric.com site, then leave us a short comment about the best baby fabric(s) you found. We'd also love to know what type of baby projects you'd like to see in the future here on Sew4Home.

Fabric.com has a wonderful selection of all the fabrics and products we used throughout this series, as well as many, many... many more. Always at great discount prices and always with free shipping on US orders of $35 and more.

Hi!  I am in love with all things paisley right now.   I think some of my favorites are the Minky Cuddles in mocha/olive(DB-419), mocha/pink(DB-336) and hot pink/lime(DB-367).  The minky fabric is wonderful and the paisley fabrics look whimsical, classic and modern all at the same time!  We have had a few babies born on both sides of the family recently and I know they would just adore blankets made from this fabric.  Oh, I just thought about sweet little cuddle bears (maybe in Minky Cozy Cuddle brown/FI-900). That might be really special too.  Thank you for the chance to win this great prize.

I love the Kravan Stretch Cotton Jersey Knit fabric.  I've never worked with knits before but 2013 is the year I try!  I'd love to see you do a tutorial for cloth diapers or diaper covers.  Thanks!

My favorite fabric is the French Blue and Brown Polka Dots. I like the use as a flexible fabric and I adore the use of laminate with this material. The other French Blue and Browns are great, too. I like the little giraffes standing proud with their cute little smiles. I'm ready to win the prize.

I loved the splat mat - and the monkey fabric it was made in was perfect!  My grandson loves monkeys, and this fabric is going to be part of his birthday celebration.  There are so many great choices it's hard to pick just one.  I guess that's why I love the Fabric.com website - there are so many opportunities to be creative that start there.

I love the Poky Little Puppy fabrics.  I wish they had those fabrics available when my daughter was a baby.  That was my favorite bedtime story as a little girl.  My mother read it to me every night.  It was our special together time.  I read it to my daughter every night when she was little, as well.  Now that we are trying to have another baby, I would love to make a baby blanket with the Poky Little Puppy flannel and some pink dimple dot minky.  I would also like to make some bibs, burp cloths, and washcloths with some of Fabric.com's nice terrycloth.  I love fabric.com.  It is probably my number one place to buy fabric. They have a great selection and great prices, as well.

I would love to have some more MINKY!  Back a few more quilts with Minky, a few  stuffed toys and a cute jacket from the Vogue pattern that I just bought. Although, I really do adore MODA cottons too so that in combination with the Minky would make for some beautiful projects. Would be sewing heaven!
