Our Gift 2 You - Part 1: S4H Pillow Trio

Printer-friendly versionSend by emailPDF version

THIS GREAT GIVEAWAY CLOSED 12/31/12. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED.

Visitors often wonder what happens to all our samples. We've even had a number of people ask if they can buy them or just have them! We use our pretty finished projects to decorate booths at trade shows. Often our sponsors ask to borrow them for the same reason or to use in displays at large retail outlets. So, sometimes they do travel around, but for the most part, they live in our S4H studios as beautiful decorations. However... you can have too much of a good thing. We decided it was time some of our samples found a new home for the holidays and beyond. Today is part one of Our Gift 2 You: your chance to win a set of S4H samples.

We selected three recent pillows, one from Re-imagine & Renovate Holiday Style: Happy Pom Pom Pillows, the Pinwheel & Pom Pom Pillow in Pirouette from the recent Happy Holidays with FreeSpirit & Rowan series, and one of the super cute Rag Edge Pillows from our You Can Do It! series.

These are 'happy pillows', so colorful and needful in a January that's turning out to be very gray.

I love to follow your posts to FB and I also receive your weekly email updates. I keep these emails as a log for future reference. When I am able to get a project underway, I can remember which ones I hoped to begin. Over this past year, I have made some wonderful gifts by incorporating new skills and applications. Using your 'wave tucks' idea, I was able to make some gorgeous, personalized, bridesmaid clutches for my son's wedding. Happy New Year and looking forward to new ideas!

My favorites are Facebook and your site.  I love FB because it keeps me in touch and up to date with people I do not get to see very often and I am hooked on the game Lexulous!  I love your site for the inspiration and the wonderful ideas and tutorials!  Check it every morning!!

Call me old fashioned but my idea of social media is spending quality time with friends and family in person.  Having said that Pinterest is the easiest to follow (no pun intended) although I'd rather just go to your site and spend time perusing there.  By the way, thank you for all the inspiration.

On most days, I check Sew4Home while enjoying my morning coffee -- both excellent ways to begin the day!  Want you to know how many of my friends are now fans of yours since I've shared your web-site with them.  I used your "crocodile" pattern from last fall for Christmas present for my two-year old grand daughter.  What a hit!

I only use Pinterest.  I feel too much of a commitment to constantly check and post on Facebook and Twitter.  Pinterest provides me an enjoyable activity, when time allows.  Although my family jokes that Pinterest is internet hoarding, I have found many projects, ideas and recipes.  I have tried alot of the ideas pinned on my boards.

First, I would like to say I absolutely love the quality of your projects!  I am following you on Pinterest and love the simplicity of capturing ideas with Pinterest.  I do not like Facebook at all and don't have any desire to spend time using it.

Happy Holidays to everyone at Sew 4 Home - oh,such a wonderful site.  I must admit that I don't do all that social networking like Facebook, PinIt, etc.Find that I spend way too much time reading so much that it cuts into my "important embroidery time".  However, I always read and check out all the projects, sales and important info on e-newsletters - especially Sew4Home.  One of my favorite e-newsletters is "Stitch Fun" published by M's Allen of Perfect Little Stitches.  This particular e-newsletter is quick and easy to read, and each advertiser has a link to iti's website.  The articles that M's Allen includes in the e-newsletter are always interesting, full of info, and clearly stated. Thank you for permitting me to enter this contest.  Joyce Santoni
