Since I hav more fabric and time than money, I made 4 sets of #3 along with the 4 - 8-Pocket Jewelry Pouch and 4 - Roll-Up Makeup Brush Case for Christmas.  I wrapped each project separately so it looked like a lot of gifts.  My girls loved them.

I'm a newbie to sewing.  I have all the equipment but can't seem to take that next step.  I've taken classes as such but I need one on one help.  Do you have complete videos for beginners. I would love to make these as professional as your item.. You have one of the nicest sites and is very informative. Your aprons are beautiful and your choice of fabric is always perfect.  Thanks for your help.

@ anna zummo - our site is designed for newbies just like you. All our tutorials are written with beginners in mind with lots of detailed steps and pictures. And, as shown by this article, lots of How To articles as well. Check out our Project Index page for lists of more techniques: http://www.sew4home.com/project-index

Video tutorials are not somethng we can afford at this time, but if you search on YouTube, there are options there from many sources.

You're killing me here.  I just finished one of your aprons (not the one pictured but similar).  Now I have 11 more things on my list!  Love all your stuff!

I'm going to make more of #3 zippered pouches to have on hand for small gifts.  They really went over big for Chritmas stocking stuffers.

I wish I could make #4, though have no use for it personally... perhaps one of my nephews will become a father.

I am re-decorating the house, the dust covers are on the list for the mater closet, the appliances in the kitchen are going to get covers like in 11, number 7 has the style of the things for the master re-do of the master retreat.  Just for the thanks for the tutorials doesn't seem enough.  It has inpired me to get up and try to remember what the head injury took away.  I made Christmas stockings from your tutorial, only I ragged them like that cute blanket and pillow.  I made it from blue jeans.  I also made the lumbar pillows for them from shirt material (old shirts) and then matched the teddy bear match the stocking tops ( just changed the ears of the rabbit/cat and sewed the arms, legs and made paw pads of the same stocking tops...easy)  I made a few boxes for my husband from the tutorial that had the rick rack.  HE LOVES THEM.  Then I unruffled the coffee cozy/sleve and made one for everyone.  THEY LOVED THEM.  My god son wants one for his birthday along with the "same pillows that his mom got for Christmas"  So I am looking at Fabric.com for fabric for his neck pillow and lumbar pillow...he is nine.  I made the oldest son a quilt following the directions for the quilt with buttons in it.  and just for fun made him a flag banner.  HE loved them and he is 37.  (big smiles from him)  SO saying thanks just doesn't seems enough.  Now onto the irong board cover...

Thanks for the round up. The apron is romantic and lovely. More like an heirloom...

What I need is an apron that is more serviceable. Do you think I should consider oilcloth?
